Discover the work behind Bittensor: from visual intelligence and security to data, inference and infrastructure.
An editorial selection, not a ranking.Ten subnets selected to illustrate different services and approaches. Each card has equal editorial weight. Yuma appears separately because its role spans the ecosystem.
Score
Builds computer vision models that turn video into structured information. Its work spans sports analytics and tools for teams building visual detection applications.
Dataverse
Now named Data Universe, it collects and distributes social-media data through a network of miners. Its tools support analytics, social listening and AI datasets.
Bitsec
Develops AI agents that analyse code for vulnerabilities. Miners submit agents; validators evaluate their findings against benchmark vulnerabilities.
Targon
Provides on-demand GPU and CPU infrastructure for AI training and inference. Its offering includes virtual machines, bare-metal servers and isolated sandboxes for code and agents.
Lium
Connects GPU providers with people, teams and AI agents renting compute by the hour. Renters can access GPU instances through lium.io, its CLI, SDK or API.
Chutes
Runs open-source AI models on a decentralised, serverless inference platform. Developers can call hosted models or deploy their own models and code through its SDK and API.
engy
Serves open AI models through an inference API, with response fingerprints used to check model execution. Its verification components are being released in stages.
Affine
Coordinates training epochs in which miners generate reasoning examples and submit evidence for verification. Accepted contributions feed subsequent model updates.
Beam
Coordinates data transfers across distributed infrastructure using a network of independent operators. Transfer performance is measured and verified to inform participant rewards.
Blockmachine
Provides JSON-RPC and archive-state access for blockchain applications, helping developers use node infrastructure without operating it themselves. A protocol-run gateway routes requests among competing node operators; validators audit service. Taostats publicly credits Blockmachine. Published traffic and savings figures are company-reported; independently verified customer revenue and profitability have not been established.
ECOSYSTEM SUPPORT
Ecosystem Spotlight — Yuma
Yuma supports the development and growth of projects on Bittensor through its subnet accelerator, technical resources and ecosystem connections. Its broader activities also include validator and mining infrastructure.
This is an ecosystem organisation working across multiple subnets, rather than an individual subnet in the selection above.
Descriptions are based on project websites and documentation, checked on 10 October 2026; Blockmachine checked on 14 October 2026. For adoption, examine the service, how work is evaluated, and whether its incentives support your use case. Follow official channels for changes and TAOStats for current network data.
